Product Description

The Toyo Open Country A/T III is here to show Toyo isn't just challenging the all-terrain tire establishment anymore. It's a firm contender among the best of the best options out there, and won't leave you disappointed on any level if you’re looking for more out of your truck, CUV or SUV.

The third edition of the Open Country A/T is a leaner, more rugged and capable version of its predecessors—which is saying something.

Toyo Open Country AT3 Features

Toyo went back to the drawing board with the new Open Country A/T III, but not without recognizing and retaining all of the great features from the original A/T and A/T II that makes the Open Country family of tires such a powerhouse of all-terrain performance.

That legacy of toughness, reliability and on-road drivability combined with Toyo's reputation for providing exceptional value is mixed in to the new AT3, plus a few more features that make it even more of a potent upgrade for your vehicle.

With a brand-new tread compound and sidewall design combined with staggered shoulder lugs and a host of other cutting-edge features, the Open Country A/T III makes a serious play at becoming the new go-to if you want the most out of your off-roader in all conditions. (Yes, it's also three-peak mountain/snowflake-certified for severe winter weather.)

Other performance features of the Open Country AT3 include:

  • Its new tread compound offers better damage resistance while increasing off-road traction and on-road driving comfort.
  • Aggressive appearance updates maintain the AT3's visual and functional integrity over its tire life.
  • Increased lateral grooves make it a leader among all-terrain tires in snow and wet stopping distances and traction.
  • 3D multi-wave sipes reduce tire wear irregularities, giving it lasting usability and performance.

Toyo Open Country AT3 Treadwear and Warranty

In P-metric, high-flotation and LT sizes from 15" to 22" wheel diameters, there's also an AT3 that will fit your OE or aftermarket wheels, no matter how you have your rig built up.

But sometimes it's the intangibles that set the contenders apart from the pretenders. That's why Toyo is backing the Open Country A/T III with a 65,000-mile manufacturer warranty in standard p-metric sizes and 50,000 miles in LT sizes. If you're just starting to do your research on all-terrain tires for your truck, SUV, CUV or 4x4, that's one of the best manufacturer warranties of any A/T out there.

And if you want to increase the protection you can get out of a set of the Open Country A/T III, our exclusive Certificates will cover them on down to 3/32" of wear.

In the extremely unlikely event these tires fail, you’ll get a brand-new replacement if it can’t be repaired.

(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order.)

At the end of the day, the Toyo Open Country A/T III is here both to tell you to forget what you thought you knew about all-terrain tires while showing you that it's right up there with the best of them.

These are a good tire to purchase. I do a lot of towing and these tires have been great. In wet conditions when I'm not towing they are a little slick but only when I'm taking off from a stop. Never had an issue with traction when turning and it's wet out.

I'm on my second set of Open country III's and will buy a third set. This tire by far is the best A/T tire for price and tread wear. I kept alignments at every 6-7k miles with rotation. My first set had 69k with another 10k of tread left.

2022 Chevy 2500HD: 4x4 These tires are amazing!!! There was plenty of room in the wheel well, so I upgraded from the factory 245/75/R17 to 275/70/R17. Basically got an effortless 1" lift, WAY better grip/traction, & tires with more load capacity than the truck itself! The new tire size makes the truck's computer mpg "gauge" appear worse than the factory tires; but based on real world driving, the difference is negligible. For such an aggressive tread pattern, severe road noise would be expected…but not with these! There's a slight noise after 3K miles, but it's almost undetectable. Tread depth seems unchanged at 3K miles. I have towed a 12,000lb. fifthwheel 500 miles with the new tires & the truck seems much more responsive now. Wet road grip/traction is fantastic regardless of water depth encountered. Snow grip/traction is outstanding! While not in 4 wheel drive, drove through 6" of snow as if it wasn't even there! Mud grip/traction and handling is great! I've pulled out several ...

I have a 2016 Ram Rebel that still have the original Toyo Open country tires. I drive it every day and these tires are phenomenal. I will be changing them out this fall and they will have 100,000 miles on them. Daily I am on the road and during hunting season I am off road all the time and they get the job done. Rotate them every other oil change is the only thing I do. Thank you Toyo for a most excellent product!!!

Purchased these tires a few weeks ago and absolutely love them. Road noise is minimal and dry road handling is awesome. We had 6 inches of wet snow and I was impressed with the performance. I was passing stranded cars and SUV's without any problems.

I replaced a set of Hankook AllWeather tires with these on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- these tires are awesome! Driving in the Colorado snow and slush is so much better now - smooth and quiet ride on the dry roads too. While more expensive than other tires I can honestly say They are worth it.

First off if you read the 1 star reviews before reading the 5 star reviews like myself, you might be a little worried, but don't be. I have these on my 2017 Tundra crew max TRD Pro and they currently have 89,563 miles on them and numerous screws, bolts, and a piece of rebar, amazingly no air has ever leaked out? I live in Florida where we have sugar sand and a lot of rain not to mention a lot of horrible drivers. I have never gotten stuck with these tires and they have never slid in the rain until about a week ago now that they have so many miles on them. They are very responsive and stop on a dime, for some reason here in Florida old people just love to pull out in front of you, so responsive tires that can stop quickly are essential. One last thing, I don't understand peoples obsession with road noise and all terrain tires, these tires are made for B.A. people that are going to be putting these on there lifted B.A. vehicles. Remember these are for go not show, you know who I'm tal...
